Renovation of an existing 1929 unreinforced masonry building and bow truss roof for the Social Security Administration offices serving the DTLA population. The slope across the 160’ frontage provides for a split level floor using the upper portion to provide interview bays serving the public and staff facilities and amenities on the lower level. The project was bifurcated into core and shell and tenant improvement packages to facilitate schedule.
