HALO

The Wells Fargo Center Renovation was a unique opportunity to modernize a public plaza in a beautiful reductive minimalist project designed by SOM in the late 70’s and Jeffrey Miller’s last project with SOM in 2018. The rigor and care in detailing is reflected throughout the project in thoughtful material transitions and how the plaza marries the geometry of the two towers.

The redesigned plaza and podium building, known as Halo,  reforms the interstitial space between the postmodern towers as an indoor/outdoor tenant amenity space including bars and restaurants and re-sited artwork from the original construction.
