The war has been devastating to Ukraine. Through our relationship with Brighter Ukraine Foundation, JM|A+D is leading the masterplanning for a medical campus and sports facility in Western Ukraine on the Slovakian Border. The facility primarily supports the rehabilitation of war amputees and includes a state of the art medical facility, sports facility and housing for doctors and patients emphasizing wellness and an architecture of healing.  As the facility grows, and in time the demand for the rehabilitation of veterans diminishes, the facility will evolve the sports facility and hotel/restaurant program to serve as a venue for athletes with disabilities such as the Paralympic Games, and a teaching hospital.
